Pet owner?

I don't know if this is the place to ask this, but I'm a pet owner who will be applying to college soon, and I was just wondering if anyone knew of any colleges that allow freshman to live off campus? That way I could get an apartment that allows pets. I've considered colleges that let you have pets, but I have a hedgehog, a budgie (parakeet is the American name) and a dog, so I really need an apartment. So if anyone could tell me of a college that has a pre-vet or biology with emphasis in pre-vet major that let's freshmen live off campus, that would be great!!

If you’re willing to do a bit of research, [Princeton Review](College Search | The Princeton Review) has a category called “Campus Life/Facilities” for each of the schools listed on its site. Once on that page for any school, if you look at “Key Statistics” on the right-hand side of the page, the listed information will generally include the percentage of first-year students living on campus, so it should be easy to identify the schools that don’t require freshmen to live on campus. There are a number of different search parameters on the site (school size, location, etc.) that should help you find the schools you’re interested in.
