She has me wrapped around her paw and knows it! Our D’s rescue.

We kept them inside yesterday due to the rain. They were unhappy that they were in the main part of the house and not in the office with us. We relented and let them stay with us for awhile until they drove us crazy.

I have a pyr, too. But he has a mask. He was a rescue from KY.

My Mr. sploot above (with his bowl in his mouth) is 20% GPyr. He’s mostly Aussie, GP, and coonhound with not a speck of border collie ancestry.

That’s amazing because as soon as I looked at him I thought that he looks so smart and athletic. Definitely a frisbee dog. Things you definitely don’t expect from a coonhound of pyr.

I think that’s his Aussie half, lol. He is a good frisbee dog - better than my border collie (first two pics) actually, but once he has caught it, he just takes his time ambling back to me! He’s stubborn, barks loudly at everything, and is very protective which I credit his hound and pyr relatives for. He’s a real love bug though - he’d sit in my lap all day if I let him!

The dog on the right in my photo is an amazing Frisbee catcher. He could do it all day. The younger dog, on the left, loves to carry a Frisbee in his mouth and won’t drop it - he just proudly trots around with it. I do love Aussies. Such sweet, smart dogs.

Mine won’t play frisbee unless treats are involved rewarding them for bringing it back. Without treats, they do the same - refuse to drop it and try to get me to play tug of war ( the border collie), or just wander around with it then try to start chewing on it (the Aussie mix).

I have to cut the treats into tiny pieces so they don’t get fat. When they see me at the counter cutting up treats, they know it’s frisbee time and start acting like lunatics.

This is our Leah. She’s around 15 - we rescued her 13 years ago. She is the sweetest most loving dog I’ve ever known. She has CCD (cognitive canine disorder) which can be extremely difficult, but we do the best we can for her.
We very rarely travel without her these days, she loves it so much.

This is our evil murder floof. I inherited her when my mother passed away last year. I have done everything I can to make her love me to no avail. I am convinced she has no soul. She only has eyes for my husband who has always professed a disdain of cats. They are now as thick as thieves.

“Guinea Pig, what Guinea pig? I have no idea what you’re talking about”.

She is demonic. She is plotting to kill both me and the big stupid dog. She has my husband snowed. I have to sleep with one eye open.

My cat would always curl up next to me but never get on my lap although she’d make herself at home on husband’s lap–especially when he didn’t want her there.

We had to put our 10 yr old pup down Memorial Day weekend. Thinking of getting another puppy. I am a huge fan of rescues but also we need a particular type of dog and we arent in a big rush. A local breeder posted some really cute Coton de Tulear pups though just born.
