<p>In case you didn't get this yet, it's a petition started by alumni to get 20,000 signatures in support of Mayor Bloomberg choosing Cornell to build the Applied Science and Engineering campus in New York City so the city can compete with Silicon Valley. </p>
<p>I have nothing to do with it - just passing it along if you're interested in signing and sending to people you know. This could position Cornell to do for NYC what Stanford has done for Silicon Valley. A number of top engineering schools are submitting proposals, but supposedly Cornell and Stanford are considered the leading candidates at this point.</p>
