Could someone explain how the petition process is? Suppose my GPA is under the 3.7 requirement but my SAT score is way above the requirement, is there still a chance I could be accepted as a Direct Admit?
Yes. Although if you are a senior in high school, you missed the boat for this year. It depends on the numbers though. Your GPA probably needs to be in the 3.5 to 3.6 range. Even if you got a perfect SAT you would not get it with a 2.4 for example. I think you just complete the application to petition and send it. I don’t know a lot about the process but other on here do.
But you could work hard now in high school & get your grades up and be considered for direct admission before the end of July. Not sure if you needed to petition already by the deadline. You could contact Sarah Hatch
