<p>I was admitted to TAMU (Petroleum engineering major) for Spring 2014. The only thing that is unknown for me is that when will I choose the speciality in petroleum engineering? I mean specialities such as drilling enginnering, reservoir engineering, petroleum geology... </p>
<p>I understand that 1st-2nd year I will study general petroleum engineering (chemistry, introduction to petr. eng., calculus I, II, physics). But from which semester do I have to choose definite speciality and study in that only direction? Or programmes in TAMU are created in such way that you study all specialities at once? That is very obscure for me.</p>
