Hey folks ! I’ve got admit from University of Houston, Main Campus and University of Calgary, Canada to pursue my Master’s in Petroleum Engineering.
As as International student I’d be really thankful if you could throw some opinion on the quality of education in both the above universities,internship and job opportunities for my field. Also about the fun and party element.

Job opportunities? You’d be in the two best cities in NA for (finding) jobs in that field, so I wouldn’t worry about that aspect. U of C is arguably the top university in Canada for PetE. I’m not sure if U Houston can boast that over UT Austin, Texas A&M, Colorado Mines, Oklahoma, etc.
At any rate, it should probably come down to where you’d rather live/work, in the USA or Canada? That’s the overriding factor here.
You are aware that short of S Arabia & Iran nuking each other, S Arabia could keep oil prices low for a generation.
