Petroleum Engineering: Where to transfer?!?! Stay in state or go out of state??

Hello, I am new to college confidential. So please excuse me if I posted this in the wrong area. I am at a community college and going to be finished up here this semester. I was planning on transferring to University of North Dakota in the fall of 2014 (I am from North Dakota). I have a cousin that is the vice president of an oil company and is working in North Dakota as of now. Finding out That UND is not abet accredited (they get tested in 2015 for accreditation) and they seem to just be handing out PtE degrees like hot cakes makes me worried to go there. The only reason I would go there is because I could get done quickly (2 years vs 3 years at out of state) and work for my cousin. If my cousin moves on before he would hire me would I be screwed having a crap degree from UND and not being able to get a job because of the the rise of petroleum engineers? I applied to University of Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and CSM for out of state and I do not know what to do? Thanks for any advise!
