Just like the title says. Starting with Houston Community College and working your way up, what are the easiest petroleum engineering programs to transfer into? I have quite a few semesters under my belt at a big 4 year public university, but my GPA has been devastated from prolonged immaturity. It has been 5 years since I attended school, and my priorities are straightened out, I just hope it is not too late for me. 29 years old cumulative GPA 1.92

Go sit down with the Transfer Advisor at HCC, and talk through your options. I expect that you won’t be the first student like you that that advisor has helped out. Given your location and your major, you may not even be the first one this week. You also should speak with the engineering instructors at HCC. They are the ones who write letters of recommendation for students from your department, and they should know where their students are accepted.

Wishing you all the best!
