petroleum engineering

whats the portion for college?
-please don't move the thread,i want to hear from different people.
thanks.

What does that mean??

What ?

What are you asking?

What do you mean by “portion”?

Are you asking about cost? viability of the major? what???

BTW…I think that PetE is a dying field…you may want to protect yourself by going into another area of engineering.

ok…you’ve asked this Q on several forums…

You want to know what the major consists of coursewise.

I suggest that you learn how to communicate better with writing. People can’t read your mind. You have to clearly state what you want to know.

I wouldn’t worry about oil production peaking in 2020. I don’t doubt the exeprts its the interpretation you make that the need for PE’s will “vanish” then. If anything I suspecty the need for PE’s will increase. the remaining oil will be in more difficult to extract regions and will be more valuable. If that is true then (seems likely to me) then more money will be spent on exploration/drilling/pipelines etc. and the need for PE’s will be stable (or perhaps even increase).
