Petroleum Engineering

Hi every one,
I am taking AS degree for major Petroleum Engineering at Houston Community College (HCC) and I will graduate at Spring semester 2015. My GPA now is just around 3.3. I did not graduate high school in USA. (I have only been in USA for 4 years.)
I am going to transfer to Texas A&M for the last 2 years to get bachelor degree. Do you think I have any chance to get in Texas A&M? I really want to get in Texas A&M. Do you think what I should do to increase my chance?
Thanks in advance!

Make As in rest of your clsses and cross your fingers. TAMU is the top petro engineering program in the country. Be sure to apply to other schools like UT, Houston, and Texas Tech.

You definitely have a chance to get in especially if you make As rest of the way

@GulfCoastPETE: Thank you very much for your advice. I am applying to UH and TAMU. For UH, it is not hard to get in. I think my chance is pretty high. However, for TAMU, it is the top petroleum engineering program in the country, I think my chance is very low. I am trying my best.
Do you think if I do some volunteer works at TAMU, it will help me to have better chance to get in TAMU?
