I have been very interested in the oil and gas field so I wanted to ask you guys what major should I select to become a petroleum engineer ? As far as I have researched, there is no petroleum engineering major in us universities. I would most probably be going to a liberal arts college. There is chemical, electrical, mechanical but no petroleum. So I wanted to ask what should I do to become a petroleum engineer ?
Any advise would be appreciated. I would like someone experienced to answer my question.
Thanks in advance.
