<p>I know that the number of threads similar to this are ridiculous, but I feel like asking this. So I am strongly considering TAMU and I was curious as to what all of you thought of my chances of getting into Petroleum Engineering. </p>

<p>These things always make me feel like I'm bragging, and I'm honestly not trying to. I am just looking for a serious opinion and I want to give the most background that I can to help you formulate a better opinion. I would be a first generation Aggie, but not a first generation college student. I am white as white can be (for being 25% italian). I also love long walks on the beach. (If thats any help! lol) Thank you so much for your time!!</p>

<p>Well I wasn’t too sure until you put you liked long walks on the beach making you red ass, now that I consider that you’re definitely into the university and possibly into PE depending on when you apply.</p>

<p>So I’m assuming it’s best to apply early? All I have left on my application is the essays. And Was that sarcasm? I couldn’t tell. (And I always feel I need to add some amount of humor when I brag about myself for that long. Sorry.)</p>

<p>You are not an auto admit but you have decent stats so I think you have a decent chance at PetE.</p>
