Petroleum Enigneering MS Program

I am a British Student Currently studying at Leeds University (UK) and currently averaging a 1:1 i think its equivilent to a 4.0gpa i have aspirations to study for a masters as it is one of the best ways to become chartered in UK.

I have strong aspirations to attend an american institute with Stanford and UT at austin being the dream destinations. i just wanted to know what type of salary can a hope to command.

I am quadrilingual (spanish arabic and mandarin ) would it be worth doing the program abroad i know imperial has a Msc program in Petroleum engineering i assume it would strength my abilty to be "international cause i have the ability to work anywhere in the EU and due to having a masters and cementing that with a masters form a american insitution i would able to apply for a visa under that stipulation thus giving me the abilty to also work in the US and mexico without any hassle.

Just take the GRE exam and apply to the school of your choice. If you have some good internship/research experience you should be able to get in somewhere…

I am currently studying for the GRe right now and will probaly have an internship lined up for my final year of study but does anyone have an idea of the type of financial aid an international student can recieve and what type of salary can a petroleum engineer with a masters command?

Is the discreprancy between the salaries at bachelors and masters worth the extra time taken in school i know advertised senior jobs require a minimum of a mastersthe very best engineers in the uk start on about £42,000 ($65,482) withe the average being £32,500 ($50,000) the number seems alot higher in the us.
