<p>The Fair Housing Act guarantees access to an "emotional service animal" to anyone with a documented need, even in housing with a no-pet policy. I am wondering how frequently Haverford students quote this law to bring a pet to campus?</p>

<p>This seems to be a well-known fact on some university campuses but I never met a student in the Bi-Co with a (legal) pet during my time there. Now I wonder why. Do Bi-Co students not know of this law, or do they just not care to have pets?</p>

<p>I’d say most Bi-Co students are pretty trustworthy and wouldn’t use a law to provide unnecessary accomodations . Anyone who would just wouldn’t fit in.</p>
