Pets?

<p>Do any of the major colleges or universities allow students to have pets in the dorms?</p>

<p>My friend either has to bring her pet to college or give it up, and, off the top of our heads, we couldn't think of any schools that let you bring animals. Anyone know of any?</p>

<p>I think that U Fla. allows students to bring gerbils and hamsters.
Of course, if your friend lives off campus as many major universities even allow freshmen to do, she can find a place to rent that would allow her pet.</p>
