<p>Is the pharmacy career outlook bad? current pharmacy students and pharmacists, please share your thoughts. </p>
<p>It certainly doesn’t have the outlook it used to. Just read the other day that by 2020 (I think) the unemployment rate will be 20% but I don’t know how that projection was made. Certain areas still need Rphs but I know a lot of markets are beyond saturated. When I hear that 80 or more people apply for 1 job in Chicago, it’s definitely not a good market. Too many new schools putting out too many grads with some employers trying to cut costs by cutting Rphs. </p>
