Thanks for the link momhippo!!
Its really great!!

I post on there all the time....good forum...

consider ohio northern it has a direct entry into the program and is only five years

St. Jons University Queens NY straight into pharm program from high school. Good GPA VERY generous $$$$

ok so i'm getting ready for the school year, and i'm narrowing down the list of schools...how do i go about giving big schools like pitt my ec's..they said to send in a supplemental info sheet with everything else like lor and essays..should i just use something like the commonapp

I think rutgers might be a reach....(or maybe the hardest to get into out of the bunch....maybe not sure on the others). they only take 200 pharm students a year. Its their best program.

I think most people here don't know/care much about rutgers, and if you were applying for anything else it would be a safety, but pharmacy is tough there. Doesn't mean YOU cant get in, but i think that everyone here is taking it for granted.

yes, i agree...rutgers does have an elite program--i know two students attending rutgers and they were first and second in their classes and have over 1400 on the sats...i'm still going to apply there and see what happens though..but do you know how to go about giving supplemental info?

Rutgers isn't that elite. They take 200? WVU takes 80.

USCF, Kentucky, Pitt, Ohio State, Florida, Texas...those are the elite. Rutgers isn't a bad school, though. You'll note that MOST of your peers in just about any major pharmacy school did exceedingly well on their college entrance exams. I got a 32 on my ACT.

supplemental info e.g. extracurriculars, awards, leadership positions

does anyone have any tips?
