Hi, I am currently a junior considering whether or not I have a good chance of being admitted into SJU’s PharmD program.
SAT: 2110 composite (650 CR 780 M 680 W)
GPA Currently 96.90 weighted
AP Classes: AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP Calculus AB
Volunteer hours: 262 in total from activities outside of school
My extra curriculars are not so strong however. I have only been in 1 sport for 2 years so far.
What are my chances of just being admitted into the PharmD program (no scholarship)? Im hoping my extracurricular activities wont kill the application. can those who have already been admitted please help?
You have an excellent chance. My son was admitted with very similar stats as yours & received a generous scholarship. They really don’t care about the sports you played, instead try shadowing or volunteering at a local pharmacy so you can write about it in your supplemental essay. It’ll give you an edge. Good Luck.
