I am interested in becoming a pharmacist and I was wondering if anyone oculd suggest good schools that have either joint programs or pre-pharmacy programs. Thanks!

Don’t be hasty.

I did the pre-pharm prerequisites for 3 years and ended up not wanting to have anything to do with pre-pharmacy.

Get a bachelors in whatever you want wherever you want, fulfill are the prerequisites for pharmacy school, and apply.

UC San Francisco I think is the most prestigious.

There are alot of pharmacy schools in the US - UNC Chapel Hill, Auburn, Ohio State, South Carolina etc. There are also 6 year “auto admit” programs that if you apply as a freshman you automatically stay in the pharma program for 6 years (if you keep the GPA). Other pharm schools you can apply to after getting your prereqs done which is usually after your sophomore year - so if you don’t want to change schools I would suggest you go to a school that has a PharmD progrm - but there is no guarantee that you will get in. Butler University in Indianapolis is one of the 6 year auto admit programs. This is a good deal if you are definitely set on pharmacy.

Hi there again! I recently applied to these 0-6 programs: St. John’s, URI, Northeastern, & USciences. Hopefully getting into them!
