Hi, I started a pharmacy thread a while back when I wasn't so sure, but now I am a lot more sure so I started another one! Anyone else out there looking at it? I'm applying to one place where you apply and if accepted you're in a 6 yr. program (no pcat!). At the others you do 2 years of prep work and then apply to the 4 yr. degree. A lot of people on here told me it was too limiting, but now that I feel like I've explored all my interests, and this is what I truly want to do, I feel better. So who's with me?

I am! Well, I'm considering in majoring pharmacy as one of my options, but I still need a lot of research about this major...

Have you visited the association of the pharmacy colleges and schools website?, the aacp.org? they have a lot of really good information. good jumping off point

I'm v. interested in this field, but it's the traditional undergrad-->grad route for me. Too many reasons to name but one of the largest is that I have too much I want to do [in college/before I enter the 'real world'] :P

Is it wise to do a 6-year pharmacy, then grad school?

What school has the best pre-pharmacy program?
In your opinion.
