Does anyone know if you pay tuition during the 6th year of pharmacy school? I called today and someone at admissions said you don't; however, on the registrar's website there is a specific tuition for the 6th year pharmD. Sometimes the people at admissions don't know what they're talking about...

Would this apply to the the 6th year in PT too? Probably too good to be true.

You should call the business office and ask that question.

Yes. Even though 6th year pharmacy students aren't in classes, they do six different clinical rotations called APPEs. Students still have to pay tuition, although, if I remember correctly, it is slightly less than the normal undergraduate tuition.

I'm not sure about PT, but if I had to make a guess, I'd say that 6th year PT students probably have to pay tuition too.

If you have any other questions, you should definitely email the Bouve office. Everyone there is really nice and they know a lot more about the specifics of Bouve programs than admissions does.

I agree it would be best to talk directly to the school with specific questions; however, here are the tuition rates for the current year from the NEU website:

Undergraduate Per Term
Tuition - 15,750
Per Summer Session - 7,875
Underload (per credit hour) - 1,313
Overload (per credit hour) - 984
6th Year Pharm D - 9,655
6th Year Physical Therapy - 7,840

Tuition 2007-2008
