<p>Pharmacy is a 4-year graduate program that requires at least 2 years of pre-pharmacy courses, similar to pre-med.</p>
<p>let me put it this way. if you like engineering, then do engineering. if you want to become a pharmacist, then pursue pharmacy. neither is going to limit you from getting into grad school. </p>
<p>i did my undergrad at ucla several years ago and i later realized three years into the program that i propably would not enjoy being an engineer but by that time it was too late to switch out. i've worked three years as a chemical engineer and am in the midst of switching out to become a pharmacist. that is, if i can get into pharmacy school.</p>
