I am currently searching for PhD in history to apply to in the Fall of 2014. I work at a university archive (since 2010); have a 3.46 G.P.A.; published two academic book reviews and done two presentation on a national level. In addition, I am a volunteer researcher for a political science professor who is currently working on a book about the history of politics in the African American community in Chicago ( I almost forgot, I am also presently studying for the GRE). My question for anyone is what are the chances I will be accepted into a program? Please be candid.
