PhD Chemical Engineering-What are my chances?

So it’s really important to get a paper published to get in some decent PhD program? (Mr. Zoo said so).

Yea ccpsux, I quite understand the importance of publications for admission into PhD programmes; but I don’t think I should allow situation of things in my country to limit my life dreams.
Thanks sefago. It’s nice to know u’re still there.

LOL, yeah I am here, I thot u had disappeared. Anyways I would be sending you a private message now.

Well, BlackBoy, what I want to emphasize is that, from what I heard, quite the contrary, yielding any publication, though desirable, is NOT something you must have to gain admission into a decent PhD program. What grad schools are really looking for is your research experience, and they understand serious research can take years to have any result.

Good luck BlackBoy!

So, where did you end up going to? I am just curious, no offense. You situation is very similar to mine, except the fact that I’m not international student. So, really want to know your results. Cheers.
