how is a 161 verbal / 161 quant for Electrical Engineering?

honestly, the math is a joke, so i’m not sure why i scored so low, but I can’t imagine missing more than 2 or 3 questions (on par with what I’ve been missing on the practice tests I took this weekend).

do you think it is worth re-taking? my GPA is very low (3.23-3.25), but i have a bunch of experience I think. volunteer research back in high school for 2 years, trained on a few microscopes, worked as IT guy for a summer, worked at Broadcom for a year testing boards and writing scripts, working on two research projects with different professors-- might get a paper out of each of them.

i’m not sure what to think. i want to get into a cool grad school / lab, i don’t really care too much about where as long as i get to do something captivating. i took a hard course load, taking extra classes for experience even though i don’t necessarily get A’s in everything.

any advice, friends?
