PhD in ChemE after M.S in Bioresource after B.S in ChemE. Please help a brotha

I will be receiving my B.S in chemical engineering soon.

I want to pursue R&D in biofuel as a career in the future.

What is your opinion on the path of:

B.S Chemical Engineering -> M.S Bioresource Science and Engineering (thesis/R.A program) -> PhD Chemical Engineering

The reason why I don't want to directly engage in PhD studies is because I want to experience M.S research before I fully decide to spend 5 years of my life in PhD studies/research.
The reason why I want to receive a M.S in Bioresource instead of ChemE is because my current school provides full funding (tuition, health insurance, etc) for their Masters students in Bioresource participating in a thesis program. Not many ChemE masters program provide funding like that.

cool. More Grace to your elbow. keep it up.
