I am going to be a 3rd year math major at the University of California Irvine, and I am interested in getting a PHD in Math after I finish my undergrad. I currently have 3.77 gpa. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on getting into grad school. I have no research experience, but am planning to get a minor in computer science which would delay my graduation another year giving me 3 years total for chances to do research.

I was wondering if its hard to get into a PHD program, some of the schools ive been looking at are USC, Claremont grad school, and some mid tier UC's such as Davis, Riverside, Santa Barbara.

Im not looking to get into the best school just a pretty good one.

If anyone can give me advise that would be great.
