PhD in Theater or Perf. Studies

I'm planning to apply to theater PhD programs this fall, and I have a particular interest in studying musical theater. Again, this is for a PhD - scholarly study of musical theater and dramatic literature, not studying to become an actor!

My list of places to apply right now is:
UC Berkeley
Columbia
NYU Tisch
Northwestern
University of Texas
Brown
Cornell

Are there any other schools with great Theater, Drama, or Performance Studies PhD programs that I should know about? It's so hard to find information about these types of programs ...

Hey,

I know how you feel trying to find information about a rare program like Performance Studies. I recently got accepted into Tisch for Performance Studies and I was wondering what you know about the program? Is the hype real? I am trying to get a more realistic picture of what the program is like and what kind of education one would receive. I have to say though, from speaking to the staff there it seems like it would be an extremely gratifying and worthwhile program.

Good luck and if I here of any schools that fit your bill I will forward them on!
