how demanding is medical school? i am a pharmacist cosidering to continue my education. I have to decide between phd or md.

Um, completely wrong place to post this... Try premed and grad school forums. Even then, a PhD and MD are different degrees and are both very difficult in different ways. Just do what you enjoy more, but keep in mind you pay for med school while PhD is usually funded (unless you are a complete failure).

Yeah, post this in the premed/medical school forums.

thanks i am new at this how do i get to that section?

thanks i found that section......

It depends on what you intend to do with that education. MD is more clinical while PhD is more research based.

I agree.
What I just wanted to point out is a little something that came to mind - a phd in a social science major (which is not likely what you were considering but what I plan to try after finishing my master's) is something that might be feasible for me. But I don't think there's any way I could possibly make it through med school... Too rigorous for me; I'm not that brainy.
