Thanks in advance for the chancing!

tufts all the way!!:)

UNC, William and Mary, and UVA might be a reach but i think you have a good shot at them with that SAT score.

Off topic-Did you study for months to get that kind of score on the SAT?

What’s your class rank? If your school doesn’t rank, what is your estimated rank?

I think you have a definite shot at these schools. Your GPA isn’t horribly low but it isn’t as high as it could be. Is there a reason for this or are you really an “underachiever”? This is not a good label to have if you are looking at top schools.

Make sure your essays are great, and you will have a good chance. By the way, I am super jealous of your SAT scores :)

Haha not really, I did a few practice sections the night before each test and made sure to get a good breakfast the following morning.

I’m just one of those people who excels at standardized tests.

I’m definitely in the top 25%, but my school doesn’t rank so I can’t get more specific than that.

As for my underachieving, I guess it’s just that my parents are laid back about school which has influenced my attitude about grades and academia in general. Most parents of excellent students I know push their children to get straight A’s but as long as I get B’s and A’s mine don’t say a word.

BUMP 10char

I think you will be admitted to BC. Phenomenal test scores, clear demonstration of class rigor, and some decent ECs to boot. Have you thought about applying EA? You would make a strong case for an EA admit. You might even get into the Presidential Scholars Program.

First off, awesome test scores.

-Rutgers- In
-TCNJ-In
-Tufts- reach
-Boston College- high match
-William and Mary- no idea.
-UVA- low reach/high match
-UNC Chapel Hill-reach
-Wake Forest- match

chance me back?

Rutgers: in
TCNJ: in
Tufts: match
Boston College: lowish match
William and Mary: low match
UVA: match
UNC Chapel Hill: safety
Wake Forest: low match

Honestly, I think you have a very, very good shot at getting accepted to all of the above, assuming your GPA is in the top 25%. Congrats on the stellar SAT scores!

Yeah, your GPA definitely isn’t that bad, albeit at the lower end of some applicant pools. Nonetheless, i think that you can get into most colleges on the list.

that SAT score has SAVED you

Yup =) 10cha

Rutgers - Safety (IN)
TCNJ - I honestly don’t know
Tufts - Mid Reach
Boston College - Mid Reach
William and Mary - Mid Reach
UVA - Mid Reach
UNC Chapel Hill - Low Reach
Wake Forest - Low Reach

Although your SAT scores are extraordinarily high, your GPA makes it so hard to predict anything. Has it at least been an upward trend? If it was I’d say all your mid-reaches might be closer to low-reaches. You’re a strange case. I really can’t say anything with any degree of certainty.

Shoo-in for Rutgers.

bUmPbUmP…

BUMP anyone else?

edit: nvm

10 char
