Any of you have kids who are student members or alumni? What can you tell me about it?
My daughter (first semester sophomore) received an invitation to rush and I am trying to figure out if it is worth the expense.
Thanks!

Looking quickly on line it seems to be that "Phi Sigma Pi is a National Co-ed Honors Fraternity that is unique in its combination of an honor society, a service club, and a social fraternity. " (according to Drexel)
So is she looking to be able to do service and be in a social fraternity?
How much is it?
She can always rush to get more info.
Yes, she will go to an information session and I looked at the national website and the website for her school’s chapter. I posted here in search of first-hand information from other parents.
Info on dues from the national website:

My daughter was a member at her school, she even served on eboard. It was very social which she needed after a rough freshman year. It was co-ed. They did some community service ( but not as much as my son is doing in APO). My daughter learned to speak in front of a large group and leadership skills-and when she was a senior job interviewing she was always asked about her eboard position. It was a fair amount of a time commitment . Go to the info meeting and ask questions.
