is there a way a college can check if someone is a member? i am applying by a certain deadline and wil be a member within about a month after i apply, but not right when i submit my application so i was wondering if i put that i was a member if they would be able to check? thanks

they can call and ask. easy.

do they generally call and check a lot?...so im guessing dont put it?

say when you'll start becoming a member

have you sent in the $65 membership fee yet? if you haven't, PTK will not have you in their database. if you're worried about it, i suggest getting in the $65 to your PTK advisor asap.

I am not sure how your CC works but at mine they put it on your transcript. They put it on there in the semester that I joined. However, they didn't actually list it in my transcripts until the semester was over. PTK gives you a member id number. It should be alright unless they want to see your certificate or member id#.
