I was recently accepted to both Temple and Drexel’s nursing programs. Both of these schools are not my top choices, but I’m very interested in the academics/social scene they offer. Would anybody be able to compare the reputation of these two schools?
I live outside Philly - and honestly the city is a lot of fun, has lots of culture and the major sports are a blast. I have seen students on the subway to the stadium numerous times and then back to the city. Temple plays at Wells Fargo (where the Eagles play) and the tailgating looks pretty robust. Academically they have good reputations - my daughter went to a mini-med camp at Drexel and was very impressed.
Have you visited both schools? They’re in very different neighborhoods – I’d lean towards Drexel in terms of location and reputation, but I’m not sure about the nursing schools specifically.
