Phillips Academy Andover chances

Applying for grade 10 at Phillips Academy Andover.

SSAT Scores:
Verbal - 800 (99)
Math - 800 (99)
Reading - 749 (97)

A to A+ in all subjects.
Highest possible math class for my grade (there are four groups).

Play the trumpet and the drums. Self-taught (but not very good at) the piano.
I'm on the local club's baseball team. I'm not bad but nothing to brag about, really.

Pretty much fluent in French after two years of study. Been studying Japanese at the normal level for my grade.

The thing that might keep me out is my willingness to actually go. I am a little hesitant about whether I really want to go to Phillips Academy and that may or may not show up in my short answers / essay. Also, at the rate I'm going it is very possible that my application will not make it in before the recommended deadline (Feb 1). I would like to know how much weight the admissions council places on SSAT scores, recommendations, grades, and the essay.

Thanks in advance.

hmm areu asian seems like it lol
anyways, do u have any ecs, theyre kidna important how was ur itnerview? where u from? that all matters.

grades and ssat are important, but no offense, its nothing if thats all u gt u know?

i dont think so. I am really sorry, but this is not a strong enough application. they want this + character.

1/2 grades and crap; other 1/2 character (interview)

i agree… PA ANDOVER CHANCE ME… IM THE ONE ABOUT YODA AND DUMBLEDORE ON THE MAIN THREAD

You may have a shot. I knew someone with only a few math competitions as ecs (literally nothing else). He was accepted into Exeter. I guess it depends.

If your interview goes particularly well and your essays shine through, you could probably be accepted. Strong recommendations would help. Er, you should try hard to get it in on time. Good luck.
