I just realized that only 11% of applicants get in, and I doubt very seriously that I will get in the 97th percentile (as most people say you need to be). If I get in the 90th percentile but do GREAT on the interview, do you think I’ll still get in? How important is the interview in the application process?</p>

<p>The acceptance rate is 14%. Also, you don’t need to get in the 97th percentile for the SSAT to get in. The average SSAT score is 94th percentile, but I know lots of kids with much lower socres. <p>The SSAT and interview aren’t the entire process. They look at your grades, SSAT, interview, essays, extracurriculars and letters of recommendation. Pretty much what the admission team is looking for is people who would do awesomely at Andover. They try to get to know your personality and see if you would fit in here.</p>
