I've only heard positive things about phil 100, but can anyone who has taken the class before shed some light on how the reading assignments are in the class. I noticed in the booklist for the course, there are about 6 different philosophical texts, are they all essentially covered in the class?

nice. thanks a lot for the link.

Yup, that's a REALLY good site. I totally forgot about it. It's very helpful for picking classes..the three I've picked as a result have turned out great/what I expected of it.

I had a friend who took it. f mitch greene is still teaching it it might be ok. I had him for PHIL 202 and HATED him, but I heard he is good with PHIL 100.

I dunno, I thought Mitch was a terrible teacher though. He always would ask for peoples opinions but wouldn't give any thought to them unless they were shallow and could be dealt with very quickly so he could move on. He would also repeat things like 400 times like we were 12 years old. It drove me crazy to the point where I just stopped going to class, and I really liked the material too...
