I have been looking into going the medical route post-college and was wondering if I would have time to take the requirement classes for med school while taking a double major in philosophy and math. Also, do you believe my chosen majors will put me in a good light when I apply to medical schools assuming I have good grades in my classes as well as the required medical school classes?

It is generally quite doable to single major in almost anything while doing pre-med.

Double majoring may be more difficult; you have to count courses or credits for both majors, pre-med courses not satisfied by the majors, and breadth requirements not satisfied by the majors or pre-med courses and see if it all fits.

Medical schools are mostly about MCAT and GPA in terms of academics. However, (applied) math tends to have better job and career prospects at the bachelor’s degree level than the more common pre-med majors in the biological sciences.
