Philosophy at Brown

<p>Hey everyone.
How good is the Philosophy Department at Brown, in particular for undergraduates? By “good” I mean, generally, the quality of the professors and how the courses offered compare to those at other places. </p>

<p>How does it compare with other departments at Brown? I know that certain colleges have a reputation for being ‘strong’ in some areas and not in others. </p>

<p>Also, does anyone have any idea of the relative strengths of the department at Amherst over Brown, or vice versa?</p>
