I know that GW is not a university known for its humanities and that it has a tiny philosophy department, but could any current/former students give a prospective philosophy major with an interest in law school some insight into the philosophy classes offered at GW? Any shared experience, positive or negative, would be greatly appreciated.

Out of the philosophy classes that I took, I found only one enjoyable and thought-provoking. It depends on the professor, but, personally, I wouldn’t major in it. Not only can it be dull if the professor/students aren’t into it, it’s not a particularly applicable degree, unless you’re 100% certain you’ll do law school afterwards. If you want CCAS, I’d personally major in economics (preferred), poli sci (ok), or perhaps take classes from the business school.
