Philosophy of English? That is the question.

Both will ensure my continued poverty, which has so far been rendered meaningless by excess amount of student loans. ;P My parents will pay for it.
I like philosophy, a lot. I personally enjoy reading a lot of philosophical texts, but I also have a vibe for English, especially comparative literature. However, I'm horrible at literary analysis in the sense that I have tried my best to analyze it philosophically, attaching to them philosophical themes my English professor hates. I try to study French for the sake of comparative literature, and found out that I'm horrible at it. Seriously, I was a math social-science person back in high school. I got horrible grades, Bs and some As in my English classes, but I got As in my philosophy classes. So, the problem is: should I study philosophy for the heck of it? or should I stick to my major in English?
I'm good at math, too. btw. And I don't mind deciphering Wittgenstein or doing logical puzzles.

Thanks :)

****, I can't even spell, philosophy or english.

philosophyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

law school could add 'practicality' to either one of those majors.

You like philosophy and you're good at it. I don't see why you shouldn't pick philosophy then.

i'm doing both. both are great. go for it. they'll teach you what you don't know.
