Philosophy or History

<p>Hello my international ccboard-friends,</p>

<p>I currently choosing my subjects for my final high school exam and i'm a bit uncertain
if I should choose Philosophy/Psychology or History as one of them. Which one looks "better" on a college application? (I know, I know that's a ....... question, but I love both subjects and cannot decide)</p>

<p>I’d recommend philosophy - it’s a subject often not offered in American high schools, so it would give you a bit of an advantage if you took it in college. Also, I think philosophy in general has a reputation of being a more academically rigorous subject… I think it would tend to look better on a transcript.</p>
