Philosophy: UCI or UCSD?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...

Between UCI and UCSD, which school do you think provides the best education in the field of Philosophy? I've heard and read several answers to this from a wide variety of reliable sources and I'm not sure who/what best answers my question (unless this all means they're both equal or whatever :-D).

Also, even though it's kind of unrelated, what's with UCSD and its 'six colleges'? Are there really six campuses in six different locations? If there are, how has that been beneficial and/or detrimental to students' campus life?

Thanks in advance. :-)

For UCSD, the six colleges have different GE requirements. Also, each college has its own resident halls and apartments, and you will most likely live with people in your own college. Your choice of college does not affect your major. There are parts of campus that are designated "Muir", "Revelle", and so on.
