Philosophy @ UCSD

How is the philosophy department at UCSD in terms of difficulty?

What a major in philosophy be beneficial for an eventual track towards law school?

What minor or double major would be an ideal supplement for a major in philosophy?

Thanks in advance.

I couldn’t speak to the difficulty but philosophy isn’t a bad major for a law school path. As far as a minor, there is a Law and Society minor that is set up for people who want to go into the legal field, more info> [Law and Society - Home](http://warren.ucsd.edu/law/)

theres no best path towards law school. law school weighs heavily on cumulative gpa, lsat, and sop. the only advantage a phil major has is that they get thoroughly grounded in logic courses.

theres no best minor or double major to supplement phil, but l&s isnt bad. poli sci, econ, sociology, psychology, math, international relations, etc. are other choices
