Phone call about financial aid...

My sister received a phone call yesterday from the Emory admissions office saying that they needed my mom's latest tax forms (they submitted the majority of it, that is the last missing piece). It was an automated message left on the machine.

Does this mean that she's probably getting in? My mom asked me, and it seems to make sense to me...why would they be searching for financial aid stuff to put together a package if they didn't plan on accepting her?

Can anyone help with this, please?

i got the same call..

yeah, she probably got in. Why would the financial aid officers waste time preparing FA packages for those who were rejected?

sweet...i hope i also got in....since i got the same message.

yea I agree, I got a similar call from jhu before I got in ED, I think it is definitely a good sign. Im routing for u guys, good luck to your sister nycsenorita.

I think it's an automated message for every applicant. I am applying RD and I was called, too.

If it's an automated message, then I don't know what to tell you. However, if it's an actual live message, then you probably got in.

what's the address we use to mail the tax forms? i didn't see it on the website.

it's an automated message.. it's a robot

i got a live message

interesting

I got a letter saying the same thing.. good sign?
