One correction to my previous post: No form in the envelope to return but a second sheet that describes the wait list process and instructions on how and when to go online and accept or decline the wait list option. </p>

<p>My daughter got FAT LETTER yesterday ay 3.00 pm.here in Houston. Accepted in SCS !! </p>
<p>My S got the waitlist letter today, too! Validates what he thought about how well the audition at NY Unifieds went. Now just wish the cost at CMU weren’t so wicked high…and they state that decisions off the waitlist aren’t need blind so there goes that hope!</p>
<p>Priority wait list MT for my D. I thought that letter was a little thick. lol It comes with what to do now if you’re on the priority wait list.</p>

Son received his No today. After reading the letter he told me he never thought he would get in, but he had wanted to check in with Gary and see how he was doing (son attended the CMU pre-college last summer). I told him his “Checking in” cost $150.00, lol ~X( </p>
<p>I’m editing to add that son would have been thrilled beyond belief if he had been accepted or wait listed, so I think this was his way of feeling better about the rejection.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if any of the boys that were accepted to MT have rejected their offers… My S is still on Priority hold and hoping for a chance

<p>My daughter (an accepted and now enrolled (!) CMU acting student) heard second-hand that two MT boys are turning down CMU; one for Texas State, one for business school. She’s not 100% positive about either one, so don’t quote me please. And even if it’s true, that doesn’t necessarily mean CMU will pull from the wait list–but wanted to let you know what we’d heard. Good luck!</p>
<p>@ AsstToTheMT … Thanks… I had also heard about the boy accepting Texas State… but glad to hear that possibly there is another slot opening up also… my S is still hopeful

<p>Well… I guess we can hope that the MT slot will be filled with a boy currently in an Acting spot, opening an acting spot for S. </p>
