phone conversation with the admissions office

<p>i called and they told me that i should hear from them by mid march. this kind of upsets me because they sent me an email earlier last month saying that they would get all of the priority decisions out by mid jan to feb.
anyone else in my boat? i submitted everything on nov 10. and im positive they received it before the 15th.

<p>... That is really odd... I applied around the same time as you guys... and i got my decision 2 weeks ago... is this a randomly picked admissions thingy? (who gets reviewed first)</p>

<p>someone told me they first give decisions to the applicants who are at the high and low ends of admission requirements. the ones in the middle have to wait it out.... not fair haha</p>

<p>Same here, thisisusername. I sent my application in Dec. 13th, they received my transcript on the 22nd, and I was accepted on the 23rd. My stats were decent, but definitely not stellar. :confused:</p>

<p>i have no idea. i think they put more weight on act, so your 32 may get you a high ranking... were you auto-admitted by the computer?</p>

<p>nope still waiting. They finally defered me for business school on the 20th</p>

<p>oh, they don't auto-admit anyone into the business school. they are all manually reviewed. i applied LAS so i was auto-admitted.</p>

<p>thanks, actually didn't know that. thought even business school was auto admitted. Kept on hearing everyone saying they were auto admitted in a few days. Guess i was wrong for business school.</p>
