Hey!

So I got an interview, but the interviewer wanted to do a phone interview instead of a face-to-face one. I have no clue as to whether it is a good thing or bad thing. I really wanted to do a face-to-face interview because I thought that would be better in regards of an interview, but I am not really sure? Thoughts anyone?

Btw. How do people get interviews? I know that I got this one for Princeton because they e-mailed me, but my friend didn't. Is there a specific way to how they are chosen?

face to face is better if you are confident and aren’t nervous. But I have a friend who hates interviews and was better off doing a phone instead. Depends on how open you are with strangers.

interviews are random you dont have a better chance than your friend. just by availiabity of alumni.

I am awful at phone interviews, I think. I am much more comfortable in person. :P

In-person>>>on-phone. If anything, think of it as an opportunity to sample goods at Starbucks!

Kidding, of course. But interviewers usually offer that.
