I have two phone interviews this week and want to make the biggest and best impression I can, all while over the phone. I already had in an in-person interview with one of the schools last year ( I was accepted ), but still want to make huge impressions on both schools. Any advice, either what or what not to do? Thanks!

make sure you are all alone and the room is quiet. prepare a list of questions and the answers to what you predicted they were going to ask you. i was talking to the headmaster of Exeter and my dad is dead set against me going to boarding school, so what he decided to do was start cussing (like the B and F word) and shouting. i politely got off the phone. very embarassing. you should of seen my dad at the interview with the Exeter alumni.

Senay, just curious, but really why is your father against you going to boarding schools?

My dad was horrible at almost all my interviews. Didn't ask any questions, showed on emotion at all. But he wouldn't cus at the guys lol

Look on the bright side, Senay. Maybe the person on the phone heard your dad and thought, "Oh my God! We've got to get this poor girl away from this environment!" especially if he was directing his vitriolic words at you!

Ouch Senay as you know my parent's are also against me going to BS but I don't think they would ever do that because they know i would never ever speak to them again and i woul dmake their life as difficult as possible for a very long time.

My mom was very against boarding schools, but what changed her mind was seeing Choate's campus last weekend.
Happy, thriving students, a large but not "too" large campus... Maybe your dad just needs time to adjust?

Well, I just finished my interview and it went really amazingly I thought. Me and my interviewer really connected and im soo excited. but i have one more on thursday, so any more advice would be appreciated!

My mother started screaming because she pushed a pull door... Very bad. I'm trying to go up to NE sometime soon to see the schools and redo it...
