<p>Do you have to pay a service fee to use the phone line in the room or is it free for local calls? I don't really need a phone in my room but if it's free, might as well have one.</p>
<p>It's my understanding that local phone service is free, but you have to provide the phone. (not a 2.4 ghz)</p>
<p>If you want voice mail you have to pay for it, but for local calls I'm pretty sure it's free</p>
<p>Is there caller id or is there a service fee for that?</p>
<p>My phone had Caller ID work okay and I didn't get charged.</p>
