I have been searching for literally months for a 4 year liberal arts college that offers majors in both English and in photography which I can simultaneously take, or at least a minor in photography. If anyone has any suggestions, please please share. Thanks so much.

I’m majoring in studio art and political science at Tulane…its a similar sorta thing so id look into it =]

I actually have looked into double majoring or at least minoring in studio art…it’s just that I cant really find something that is mainly focused on photography or has a particularly strong photo program. Thanks for the suggestion!

It depends a lot on your stats. The Brown RISD combination would be great if you have the scores/grades. You probably have to decide how important the photography is to you because you may end up overlooking great schools that you could have gotten into because the photography program wasn’t very big. You might be limiting yourself too much at this stage. Maybe look at the “artsy” liberal arts schoolls—Vassar, Wesleyan, Bard??

yeah, the Brown/RISD program would definitely be a reach for me >_<
Bard seems like a pretty good fit, although perhaps a bit competitive for me still, as with Wesleyan. (as for Vassar, I think would prefer coed education)
thank you so much for your help/suggestions :)

Vassar is coed, last I checked (60/40 girls/guys, average for LACs), though it would probably be a reach too.
